Student Workshops

Our in-school workshops offer an accessible way for students to experience the transformative power our work. Our workshops take students on a journey of discovery and empower students to be their best selves.

Our experiential, hands-on workshops can be delivered independently or as a part of a longer learning journey. We invite you to get in touch to discuss your needs and to find out how we can co-create a programme to suit your school.

Our 3 Workshop Themes

Theme 1

Setting young people up
for adult life

This theme focuses on an individual’s personal development. In these sessions we help participants to learn more about themselves, exploring what they are good at and what matters to them, so they can step into the world more confident, with greater self esteem and heightened emotional resilience, and more motivated to reach their potential. Participants will feel empowered having developed their sense of self-identity and having explored their potential life direction.

Theme 2

Connecting
to Nature

This theme is experiential and set out of the classroom, in a natural environment close to the school. During these sessions we connect participants to their outer world by dropping consciously into natural environments and looking to see how nature can reflect all that is emerging in our lives.

Theme 3

Social
Responsibility

This theme creates a space for participants to explore what change they want to see in their world and what role they can play in society These sessions explore the concept of social leadership and allow participants to recognise that they have a voice that matters. We inspire them to see beyond self-interest, to identify the positive change they wish to see in the world, and have the courage to act on this.

During these sessions participants:

  • Discover their character strengths
  • Identify their driving values
  • Explore positive role models
  • Learn how to overcome challenges
  • Create a vision for their future

During these sessions participants:

  • Learn mindfulness techniques, including mindful movement
  • Explore nature as a teacher
  • Learn how nature connection supports positive mental health
  • Develop their listening skills
  • Enhance their teamwork skills
  • Learn about and practice authentic communication

During these sessions participants:

  • Develop leadership and peer mentorship skills
  • Learn community organising skills
  • Explore their role in society, and what impact they want to have
  • Develop a sense of meaning and purpose in their lives
  • Learn advocacy skills and how to mobilise others behind you

Considerations

  • Any of the above can be delivered independently or as a longer term project working through each theme consecutively.
  • All sessions are all experiential, participatory, holistic and draw on explorations of the mental, emotional, physical and environmental aspects of life.
  • Every session focuses on leadership in some way; be it personal leadership, leading within a community, or leading on a social or environmental issue.
  • These workshops are perfect building blocks towards our flagship Visionaries Changemaker programme.

Cost

  • We operate a sliding scale for all our programmes and trainings in an effort to keep our courses affordable to a wide range of people.
  • We set forth no criteria and trust that each organisation will pay what they feel is appropriate.
  • We charge Β£250-400 per facilitator per day.
  • Each facilitator can deliver to up to 20 students.
  • In addition, we charge Β£150-200 per preparation day needed. This will be calculated and detailed in all quotes provided.
  • The duration of each session can be up to 6 hours and adapted to fit your school timetable.
